13 Keyboard
13.1 Removing the Keyboard
CAUTION: Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the safety
instructions that shipped with your computer.
1. Follow the procedures in
Before Working on Your Computer.
2. Start with system upside down. Open the docking connector door and remove the two M2x15 mm screws
located inside the docking door highlighted in the figure below
NOTICE: The bottom access panel does not need to be removed to access the screws. The
screws can be accessed by simply opening the docking connector door.

3. Turn system over and open the display.
4. Remove the keyboard cover (see

5. Remove the four M2 x 3-mm screws along the bottom of the keyboard in the keyboard bracket.
