Changing Engine Oil
Changing the oil requires special tools. We
recommend that you have your motorcycle
serviced by your dealer.
1.
If the engine is cold, idle the engine for 3
to 5 minutes.
2.
Turn the ignition switch to the (Off)
position and wait for 2 to 3 minutes.
3.
Place your motorcycle on a firm, level
surface.
4.
Place a drain pan under the drain bolt.
5.
Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick, drain bolt
and sealing washer to drain the oil.
u Discard the oil at an approved
recycling centre.
6.
Install a new sealing washer onto the
drain bolt. Tighten the drain bolt.
Torque: 25 N·m (2.5 kgf·m, 18 lbf·ft)
7.
Fill the crankcase with the recommended
oil (2 P. 61, 2 P. 131) and install the oil fill
cap/dipstick.
Required oil
When changing oil:
1.0 L (1.1 US qt, 0.9 Imp qt)

Check the oil level. 2 P. 81
9.
Check that there are no oil leaks.
