Fuse Replacement
(Refer to the Safety Precautions on page 39.)
When frequent fuse failure occurs, it usually indicates
a short circuit or an overload in the electrical system.
See your Honda dealer for repair.
Blown fuse
NOTICE
Never use a fuse with a different rating from that
specified. Serious damage to the electrical system or
a fire may result, causing a dangerous loss of lights
or engine power.
Removal
The battery (1) is in the battery box behind the left
side cover.
1. Make sure the ignition switch is OFF.
2. Remove the left side cover (page 30).
3. Remove the battery holder (2).
4. Disconnect the negative (–) terminal lead (3) from
the battery first, then disconnect the positive (+)
terminal lead (4).
5. Pull out the battery from the battery box.
Installation
1. Reinstall in the reverse order of removal. Be sure
to connect the positive (+) terminal first, then the
negative (–) terminal.
2. Check all bolts and other fasteners are secure.
