CONTROLS
Engine Switch
The engine switch controls the
ignition system and the fuel
valve.
OFF – Stops the engine and
closes the fuel valve.
FUEL OFF – Keeps the ignition
system ON, and closes only the
fuel valve. (see page 26)
ON – Running position; opens the
fuel valve and allows the engine
to be started.
Starter Grip
Pulling the starter grip operates
the recoil starter to start the
engine.
Do not allow the starter grip to
snap back against the generator.
Return it gently to prevent
damage to the starter.
