INSTALLATION
1. Insert the height adjusting collar into the lower
mounting hole in the handle so that the flat part is
resting against the handle.
2. Slide the spring over the 8 mm pin.
3. Insert the pin and spring into the collar and push it
through.
4. Install the handle locking knob onto the outer end of the
pin.
5. Depress the 8 mm pin with your finger from
the back side so that the pin extends out from the
handle locking knob.
6. Install a new pin clip into the groove on the end of the
8 mm pin. The pin clip must be installed in the direction
shown with the concave side of the clip facing away
from the mower. Be sure that all four tangs on the clip
are properly seated in the groove.
N OTICE
During removal, the tangs on the pin clip will likely be
damaged. Always replace the pin clip with a new one
when reassembling the handle locking knob assembly.
