Charge the battery for 24 hours with
PN 06320-VH7-UA2 charger and
replace if necessary (P. 11 -2 7 ). Go to
“Battery Has Low Voltage (less than
12.7 V)” on page 2-10

• Replace the fuse (P. 11 - 27 ).
• Check the wire harness.
• Check the starter key switch and
replace if necessary (P. 11 -2 8

Turn the key to the START position and
check the voltage from the red wire at
the starter magnetic switch to engine
ground (P. 9-13

Magnetic switch is not functioning.
Check for voltage at the yellow wire on
the solenoid and then check the
ground side of the solenoid (P. 9 - 1 3
).
Inspect/replace the starter motor
(P. 9-12

Check the battery voltage.
Hold the flywheel brake lever against the
handlebar and turn the key to the START
position. Check the voltage from the
white wire at the starter magnetic switch
to engine ground. (P. 9-13
