8. Push down on the transmission control arm (against
spring tension), and disconnect the Smart Drive cable
from the transmission control arm.
9. Remove the belt tension spring from the transmission
control arm.
10. Remove the four 6 x 16 mm flange bolts that hold the
transmission/axle assembly onto the rear housing, and
then remove the transmission from the rear housing.
11. If drive belt replacement is required, hold the end of the
transmission input shaft with an adjustable wrench and
remove the 10 mm flange nut.
Remove the driven pulley halves, 10 mm special
hardened washer, and the drive belt from the
transmission.
