NOTE 8: “Time out” parameter needs to be configured based on the wireless network
topology.
It is recommended to configure 1500ms as “Time out” value when there are 6
hops wireless network.
NOTE: Procedure to configure FTEB and Office LAN will be same as that of FTEA
mentioned above.
3.2.7 Configuring a Tank
3.2.7.1 Configuring tank under serial field port
1. After Field port is configured, you need to link the Tanks to the Field
port.
2. On the Field Port 1 node, right-click and choose Add > Tank.
3. The Add Site Element window appears.
4. In the Name box, type the name of the Tank and click OK.
5. The Tank1 node is created and displayed under Field port 1.
6. By default, the Tank tab appears.
You can view or edit these properties:
Properties Description
Tank name Name of the Tank
Tank available Check, if allowed
Tank Scan Select Enable or Disable
Level type Select Innage or Ullage/Outage
