Real-Number Functions

This

chapter

introduces

the

TRIG, LOGS,

and

REAL

menus.

The

TRIG

contains trigonometric

functions

and

commands

dealing

with

angular

measurement.

The

LOGS

contains

logarithmic, ex-

ponential,

and

hyperbolic

functions.

The

REAL

contains

additional

commands

for real

numbers.

All

commands

these

menus

are described briefly in

appendix

"Menu

Trigonometric Functions

This section

shows

how

to select

the

current

angle

mode,

calculate

with

7r,

and

convert

angular

measure.

Selecting

Angle

Mode

The

calculator

can

interpret

angular

arguments

and

results as degrees

(1/360

of a circle)

radians

(l/27r

a circle).

The

default

choice is

Degrees angle

mode.

For

the

examples in this section, switch to Radi-

ans

angle

mode.

Clear

the
