Remove the one main rear cover to access internal components
To remove the rear cover:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see
Preparing to Disassemble the Computer
on page 40).
2. Open the VESA cover (1), and then loosen the 2 captive Phillips screws (2) that secure the
cover to the computer.
NOTE: Some models may include a 3rd screw under the VESA cover.

3. Lift the cover off the computer
To replace the rear cover, reverse the removal procedures.
