6-15 Adjusting the opening amount of auxiliary hook
Adjustmentprocedure
1.Adjusttheadjustingscrewtothedistanceshownintheenlargedpartialview.
(Caution) If the auxiliary hook still keeps the thread after completion of needle threading, or if the auxil-
iary hook releases the thread before the needle threading hook catches the thread, adjust the
adjusting screw. (The amount and timing of opening can be adjusted.)

Remove the face cover.
Adjustmentprocedure
1.Assemblethestandardpresserfootinthepresserfootholder.Raisethepresserfootliftinglever.
2.Loosenthesetscrewofthepresserbarpositionbracket.Adjustthedistancefromthetopsurfaceofthe
throatplatetothebottomfaceofthestandardpresserfootto6±0.3mm.Atthistime,checkthedirection
ofthepresserbarsothatthestandardpresserfootisinparalleltothefeeddoggrooveandsothatthe
needle slot in the throat plate is nearly aligned with the slot in the standard presser foot.
