Setscrews
Clinch nail
Open the cover outward.
Detach the clinch nail.
Pull down the cover until
it comes off.
Slide body spring
Press the shaft against this position.
Press the top feed dog
against the mating face.
Adjust so that no
backlash exists

How to remove the thread trimmer unit
1. Remove the cover of the top feed dog. (Fig.1)
2.Removetheslidebodyspring.(Fig.2)
3. Remove two setscrews. Detach the top feed dog. (Fig.3)

How to attach the thread trimmer unit
1. Attach the top feed dog with two setscrews. At this time, temporarily tighten the setscrews.
2.Attachtheslidebodyspring.
3. Place the top feed dog at its predetermined position. Securely tighten the setscrews while eliminating the
backlash.(Fig.4,Fig.5)
4. Attach the top feed dog cover.
