vent engine from overheating
and to allow good air intake
for the air cleaner.
IMPORTANT
CHECKING BRAKE PEDALS (H)
1. The brake pedals should be in-
spected for free travel, and smooth
operation.
2. You should adjust these pedals
if an incorrect measurement is
found. (See maintenance code "O"
in this chapter)
When depressing the brake ped-
als separated, both brake pedal
should moved down to the same
depth.
NOTE
CHECKING HEAD LIGHT, HAZ-
ARD LIGHT ETC. (J)
1. Inspect the lights for broken bulbs
and lenses.
2. Replace if broken.
CHECKING GAUGES, METER
AND EASY CHECK LAMPS (I)
1. Inspect the instrument panel for
broken gauge(s), meter(s) and
Easy Check lamps.
2. Replace if broken.
CHECKING SEAT BELT AND
ROPS (K)
1. Always check condition of seat
belt and ROPS attaching hardware
before operating tractor.
2. Replace if damaged.
CHANGING ENGINE OIL AND
REPLACING FILTER (L)
1. Park the tractor on level ground
and start the engine to warm it up.
