9.5 Changing front Axle Gear
Case Oil (see page 54)
Remove the drain plug and filling port plug to drain the
used oil. After draining, replace the drain plug and fill
with new oil.

9.6 Brake Oil
Refill the brake oil before the brake oil gauge reaches
the lower limit.
Breed the air before reassembling the brake system.
• You should bleed the air after you
have finished working on the brake
system.
• You should add some oil if neces-
sary after always confirming if it is
filled up properly before working.
ATTENTION
Bleeding the Air of Brake
1. You should pour the oil into the brake oil tank (20) to the
upper limit.
2. Let the hose (18) down to the master cylinder assembly
(2) to the full. [If the brake oil is not sucked into the mas-
ter cylinder assembly here (2), you should first loosen
the hose assembly (7) nut of the balance valve (5), and
depress the pedal slowly and repeatedly. At this time,
you should shut the connector (6) outlet of the balance
valve by hand when the pedal is turning back.
Now, you can assemble the hose assembly (7) after
confirming that the oil is coming out when you take off
your hand with the pedal stepped on.
