Main work
– Check the throttle cable routing.
The throttle cable must be routed along the back of the
handlebar, to the right of the frame, above the fuel tank
bracket, and to the carburetor.
» If the throttle cable is not routed as specified:
– Correct the throttle cable routing.
Finishing work
– Install the fuel tank. ( p. 62)
– Mount the seat. ( p. 56)
11.40 Checking the rubber grip

– Check the rubber grips on the handlebar for damage and wear
and to ensure they are firmly seated.
» If a rubber grip is damaged, worn or loose:
– Change and secure the rubber grip.

11.41 Adjusting the basic position of the clutch lever

– Adjust the basic position of the clutch lever to the size of the
rider's hand using adjusting screw

Turn the adjusting screw clockwise to increase the
distance between the clutch lever and the handlebar.
Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise to decrease
the distance between the clutch lever and the handle-
bar.
The range of adjustment is limited.
Turn the adjusting screw by hand only, and do not
apply any force.
Do not make any adjustments while riding.
