willstartautomaticallyandthegreencamera-in-useindicatorwillturnon.Formoreinformationaboutusing

IfyoudonotwantthecameratobelaunchedautomaticallywhenyoupressFn+F6orwhenyouusea
program,pressFn+F6toopentheCommunicationssettingswindowandclicktheHidemycameraimage
buttontodisablethecamera.
Conguringcamerasettings
Youcancongurethecamerasettingstomeetyourneeds,suchasadjustingthequalityofthevideooutput.
Tocongurethecamerasettings,dothefollowing:
1.PressFn+F6.TheCommunicationssettingswindowopens.
2.ClicktheManageSettingsbutton.TheCommunicationsUtilitywindowopens.
3.IntheCommunicationsUtilitywindow,congurethecamerasettingsdependingonyourindividual
needs.
Usingdualdisplays
UsingtheExtenddesktopfunction
YourcomputersupportsafunctionnamedtheExtenddesktop.WiththeExtenddesktopfunction,you
candisplayoutputonboththecomputerdisplayandanexternalmonitor.Youalsocandisplaydifferent
desktopimagesoneachmonitor.
YoucanusetheExtenddesktopfunctionwithoutchanginganysettings.Ifthefunctiondoesnotwork,refer

toenableit.
ConsiderationsforusingtheExtenddesktopfunction
•IfyouwanttoshowDOSfull-screenwhileintheExtenddesktopmode,onlytheprimarydisplayshows
DOS;theotherdisplayisblackedout.
IfyourcomputerhastheInteldisplayadapter,youcandesignatetheotherdisplayastheprimarydisplay
bydoingthefollowing:
1.PressCtrl+Alt+F12.TheIntelCUIwindowopens.

2.SelectExtendedDesktop.
