Deactivating acceleration skid control (ASR)
Deactivating acceleration skid control (ASR):
왘 Turn vehicle key in steering lock to drive position.
왘 Press top of ASR shutoff switch.
The indicator lamp v in the instrument panel
flashes.
Switching transfer case to road position
The transfer case may only be shifted when the
vehicle is stationary. The neutral position
} of the
transfer case is only necessary when changing from
the road position
$ to the off-road position %.

tem: Press mode selector switch M, see page 73.
왘 Move transfer case switch to road position $.
The road position is engaged.

The ASR system is reactivated automatically
when the engine is switched off and restarted.

If there is insufficient reservoir pressure, the road position is engaged.
