specic guidelines).
Factors that can inuence this are, for exam-
ple:

Sea level

Fuel quality

Outside temperature

Operating temperature of the engine

The values displayed serve only as orienta-
tion. The v
alues for engine output and engine
torque shown in the media display may devi-
ate from the actual values.
G-Mode
G-ModeO is an additional dr
ive program for
o-road journeys and is not suitable for use on
rm road surfaces. O is automatically activa-
ted, if one of the following conditions is met:

you shi the transfer case to the LOW RANGE
o-road gear(/ page 157).
R
y
ou engage at least one dierential lock
(/ page 159).
The O message will appear on the instrument
display.
O is automatically deactivated again, if the fol-
lowing conditions are met:
R
you shi the transfer case to the on-road posi-
tion HIGH RANGE.
R
you disengage all dierential locks.
Not all driving and driving safety systems are
available in O under certain circumstances.
Observe the system limits of the transfer case
(/ page 157) and the dierential locks
(/ page 158).
It is not possible to change the drive program with
the DYNAMIC SELECT switch in O. The
DYNAMIC SELECT switch works again only when
O has been deactivated.
