Vehicles with memory function: you can stop the
adjustment process by pressing one of the mem-
ory function position switches.
If the easy entry and exit feature is active, the

teering wheel will move upwards or towards the
dashboard when:

You switch o the vehicle.

You open the driver's door when the vehicle is
switched on.

When the steering wheel is at the steering
limit, it will no
t move upwards.
The steering wheel will move back to the last drive
position when:

ou switch the vehicle on when the driver's
door is closed.

You close the driver's door when the vehicle is
switched on.
The last drive position will be saved when:

You switch o the vehicle.

Y
ou save the steering column adjustment with
the memory function.
If you press one of the memory function position
switches, the adjustment process will be stopped.

If you use the memory function on the driver's
side while dr
iving, you could lose control of
the vehicle as a result of the adjustments
being made.

When the memory function adjusts the seat or
steering wheel, you and other vehicle occu-
pants – particularly children – could become
trapped.

During the adjusting process of the

y function, ensure that no body
parts are in the sweep of the seat or the
steering wheel.

If somebody becomes trapped, immedi-
ately release the memory function posi-
tion button.
The adjustment process is stopped.
