Install the child restraint system.

must always rest on the sitting surface of the
seat.

Always make sure that the shoulder belt strap
is cor
rectly routed from the seat belt outlet of
the vehicle to the shoulder belt guide on the
child restraint system.
The shoulder belt strap must be routed for-
wards from the seat belt outlet and, where
possible, downwards to the child restraint sys-
tem.

When tting on t
he rear seat: also secure Top
Tether if present.

When tting on the front passenger seat: if
necessary, adjust the seat belt outlet and the
front passenger seat accordingly.
