6. Before installing spark plugs, clean off any dirt on the spark
plug seats. Install plugs finger‑tight, and then tighten 1/4 turn
or tighten to the specified torque.
Description Nm lb‑in. lb‑ft
Spark plug 27 20
7. Inspect the expansion chamber gasket on the adapter plate.
Do not remove the gasket from the adapter plate. Replace if
damaged.
8. Install the expansion chamber. Tighten the mounting nuts to
the specified torque. Install the hoses to the expansion
chamber and secure with clamps.
9. Inspect the exhaust system for leaks.

Flywheel Cover Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
1. Detach the retaining strap.
2. Remove the cover by lifting off from the back of the engine.
