The following dosages are
based on Miele detergents.
Please follow the
manufacturer's instructions.
Detergent compartment

Short
For fresh, easily removed food residues. 20–25g

Universal
For normal, slightly dried food residues. 20–25g
or 1 tab
Intensive
For burnt-on, stubborn, dried-on food deposits
containing starch or protein

Plastics
Special plastics programme. 20–25g

Glasses
Special glassware programme. 20–25g

Hygiene
Special hygiene programme for items that need
to be hygienically clean

Cold pre-wash
To rinse heavily soiled items, e.g. for initial
removal of soiling or to prevent residues drying
on to dishes when a complete programme does
not yet need to be run.

Energy-saving programme with a long duration
for normal, slightly dried food residues.

*) This programme is the most efficient in terms of its combined energy and water consumption for
cleaning crockery with a normal level of soiling.
