Accessing the "Additional settings" menu
To access the "Additional settings" menu:
 Turn the dishwasher off.
 Press and hold the button and, at the same time, turn the dish-
washer on using the button.
The display will then show the following options, for example:

If the button is pressed at this menu, the dishwasher will exit the
additional settings and return to normal operation.
 Select Additional settings and open the corresponding menu by
pressing the OKbutton.

This menu can be protected with a PIN code (see "Additional set-
tings, Code").
– Code
Assign a PIN code and configure settings (see "Code")
– Log book
Display consumption levels for supplies used and operating hours
(see "Log book")
– Temperature unit
Choose a temperature unit of either °C or °F (see "Temperature
unit")
– Move program
Assign programs to the shortcut buttons (see "Move program")
– Additional functions
Modify program parameters such as water intake, interim rinses,
temperatures, and holding times, as well as detergent concentra-
tion levels for the DOS module (see "Additional functions")
– Release program
Determine the availability of individual programs for operation (see
"Program access")
– Water hardness
Set the water hardness level (see "Water hardness" and "Water
softener")
– Display view
Switch the display between the set and actual temperatures (see
"Display view")
