Unsatisfactory drying results
Issue Cause and remedy
The laundry is too damp
after drying and

The load is too small for the electronics to correctly
calculate the residual moisture content.
Start the programme again and instead of a drying
level select a Timed drying programme.
In future use a Timed drying programme for small
amounts of laundry.
During spinning, the laundry formed a ring in the drum
because the laundry was distributed unevenly.
The laundry formed a ring during the thermospin
because it was too damp or because the spin speed
was set too high.
Open the door and loosen the laundry.
Start the drying programme again with a lower
spin speed, or select Timed drying instead of a
drying level.
The laundry feels damp
after drying.
TheSteam smoothing option has been selected.
Unload the laundry and place it on hangers to
finish drying.
Warm laundry can feel damp.
Spread the laundry out to cool it down.
The laundry is too damp
or too dry after a drying
cycle.
The desired residual moisture level is between two
drying stages.
Change the level of drying as described in
"Settings", "Drying levels".
There is still water in
the drum after drying.
There is a blockage in the water outlet.
Clean the drain filters and the drain pumps as
described in "Opening the door in the event of a
blocked drain outlet and/or power failure" and
check the height of the drainage point.
