What to do if...

Opening the door in the event
of a blocked drain outlet and/
or power cut
Switch the washer-dryer off.
Press the drain pump access panel.
The panel will spring open.
Blocked drain outlet
If the drain outlet is blocked, a large
quantity of water can remain in the
washer-dryer.
If laundry has been washed at a
high temperature, water draining out
of the machine will still be hot.
Danger of scalding!
Take care when draining the
machine.
Procedure for draining the machine
When draining water from the
machine, do not unscrew the drain
filters completely or take them right
out.
Place a suitable container, e.g. a
Miele universal oven tray under the
access panel.
Slowly and carefully unscrew the
filters to let the water out.
Tighten the drain filters back up again
if you need to interrupt the flow of
water.
Once the flow of water ceases:
Remove the drain filters completely.
