CHAPTER 5 CONFIGURATION
The SMB Controller Manager is included in the file system of each SMB Controller and is part of SMB
Controller system software.
Access: To access the login page of SMB Controller, enter the IP address of your SMB Controller
including the port 8080 in your browser (Example: 10.100.98.50:8080).
You can find the credentials of a new SMB Controller in the chapter SMB Controller Manager user
accounts.
If you do not know the IP address of your SMB Controller, you have to search for it (see Search for the
communication server in the IP network) or set the default IP address to access it with a patch cable
directly or via a switch (see Reset the IP address data
).
Network Interfaces for SIP Trunk
In order to configure network interfaces for SIP-trunks, you need to connect to the WebAdmin of the SMB
Controller.
1. Log in to the SMB controller.
2. Navigate to the Configuration - IP network.
3. In the Network interfaces view, configure ethernet interfaces (eth0-eth3), with an IP4
address/subnet mask and a default router.
4. In the Subnets view, you can configure up to 10 subnets for all the network interface. Each subnet
has its own gateway definition, which is the router for this subnet.
WebAdmin Configuration Tool
This web-based configuration tool is available for the online configuration of MiVoice Office 400 series
communication servers. It offers a simple, user-friendly interface and an online help, and with its different
authorization levels it is aimed at different user groups:
