5.2.2 Periodic Inspection
Inspect the following points at specified intervals.

Protection devices and
safety valves
Inspection after the first 500h of
operation
If the differential pressure between
the front and back of the suction
strainer increses, inspect and clean
Inspect and clean annually
Replace after the first 500h of
operation
If the analysis results do not satisfy
the management criteria provided
in” 4.2.5 Mngement of Lubricant, in
this manual, replace oil.
Analyze lubricant at intervals of 6
months
Replace the filter element if the
pressure difference between the
inlet and outlet ports of the oil filter
Cooling water side of oil
cooler
Clean the oil cooler if it is confirmed
that it is heavily contaminated.
Cooling water side of
condenser
Clean the oil cooler if it is confirmed
that it is heavily contaminated.
Annually or every 8,000 operating
hours *
To be replaced if any abnormality is
found.
However, in the case that it is
difficult to stop the operation not at
regular inspection replace the
mechanical seal assembly at every
