Basic Camera Setup: The Setup Menu
Setup Menu
Date
Set the camera clock.
Selecting Travel Destination Time Zone
1 Tap Time zone.
The time zone screen is displayed.
2 Tap Travel destination.
The date and time displayed in the monitor
changes according to the region currently
selected.
Tap B M Setup menu (A 140) M Date
Date
Set camera clock to current date and time.
When the date and time setting screen is displayed, repeat from step 5 of
the section, “Setting Display Language, Date and Time”(A 23).
Time zone
Home time zone (w) can be specified and daylight saving time is enabled or
disabled from Time zone options. When destination time zone (x) is selected,
local time (A 145) is automatically calculated and shooting date and time in the
selected region are recorded with pictures. Useful when travelling.
