Installing the lens port (optional)
In order to use this product, you need the optional lens port, zoom gear and anti-reflection ring sold
separately. Make sure the combination is compatible with your lens (P.48).
Installation and removal of the lens port
To begin with preparations, follow the lens port's instruction manual.
For lens port PPO-EPXXX
Installation
Fit the lens port in the Case.
Then, turn the port ring (2) to lock.
Make sure that the port ring is locked.
Removal
Turn the port ring (4) while sliding the slide lock of the port ring (3).
Then, remove the lens port.
For port adapter (PAD-EP08)
Installation
Gently screw the port adapter in a counter clockwise direction into the lens port (1).
Fit the left and right protrusions of the port adapter into the concave parts of the port ring (2).
Screw well the port adapter on the lens port.
Turn the port ring to lock.
Make sure that the port ring is locked.
Removal
Turn the port ring while sliding the slide lock of the port ring.
Remove the lens port and the port adapter.
Turn the port adapter to remove from the lens port.
If the port adapter is difficult to remove, turn the lens port to loosen it while it is mounted on the Case.
