5.2 Configuring Static IP Address
A static IP address can be configured by accessing the low-level system menus of the PLC.
1. From main screen, press OK and ESC button simultaneously to exit to the PLC’s system menus.
2. Switch from RUN mode to PROGRAM mode
a. Select “Mode Switch” and hit OK
b. Select the UP or DOWN key to change to “PROG”
c. Hit OK to select
3. Go to ADVANCED > ENET CFG > IP Address Settings
a. Use UP key to go to “Advanced Settings” and select OK
b. Use UP key to go to “IP Address Settings” and select OK
c. Use Arrow keys to set the following:
i. Change ENET Mode to Static
ii. Set IP Address
iii. Set Subnet Mask
iv. Set Gateway Address if required.
d. Select “Save Settings” **IMPORTANT! Do not skip this step**
4. Verify Settings
a. Use UP key to go to “Advanced Settings” and select OK
b. Use UP key to go to “ENET CFG” and select OK
c. Select “ENET Status” to verify the new settings
5. Switch back to RUN mode **IMPORTANT! Do not skip this step**
6. Turn power off then back on using power switch located below on bottom of control box
5.3 RS232 or RS485 Communications
If the dryer must be connected to an RS485 network or RS232 port, use a Modbus Gateway device,
such as Parker’s part number SW2400-MOD (sold separately).
