SideLobes
Sidelobepatternsareproducedbysmallamountsofenergy
fromthetransmittedpulsesthatareradiatedoutsidethenarrow
mainbeam.Theeffectsofsidelobesaremostnoticeablewith
targetsatshortranges(normallybelow3nm),andinparticular
withlargerobjects.Sidelobeechoesformeitherarcsonthe
radarscreensimilartorangerings,oraseriesofechoesforming
abrokenarc.
