You can take three consecutive images at different aperture
values without changing the exposure.
This function is only available in J mode.
1 Select x on the Drive
Mode screen and press B.
2 Use CD to select x or y.
Proceed to Step 6 when x is selected.
3 Press G.
4 Select a self-timer mode.
5 Press E.
The screen of Step 1 reappears.
6 Use R to set the bracketing order and bracket
value.
Available operations
7 Press E.
The camera returns to standby mode.
8 Shoot.
Takes three pictures with one release of the shutter.
The camera returns to standby mode.
t Memo
• The bracket value can be set in increments of 1/3 EV steps or
1/2 EV steps according to the [1 EV Steps] setting of the E1
menu.
u Caution
• When using a lens with an 9 position, if the aperture ring is
set to a position other than 9, [Depth of Field Bracketing]
cannot be selected.

R to the right Takes pictures using smaller
apertures (larger f-numbers)

R to the left Takes pictures using larger
apertures (smaller f-numbers)
