properly, problems, such as nozzle clogging due to a dried-out print head and white ink
precipitation may occur, causing a malfunction.
• If you do not use the machine for a long period of time, always check if the nozzles are clogged by
printing a nozzle check pattern. Perform head cleaning before printing as necessary.
• If you do not use the machine for a long period of time, printing may not be performed normally
even if head cleaning is performed multiple times. If any nozzles are stilled clogged, turn the power
off and do not use the machine for 8 hours or longer. If there are air bubbles trapped in the ink,
they may be absorbed and normal printing may be possible. If the problem is still not resolved, see
page 184 "When You Want to Clear Nozzle Clogging".
