electronic components inside the product, causing it to malfunction.
Space Required for Installation
Ensure enough space around the machine for installation. The space shown below is necessary for
operating the machine and for work done by a service engineer.

About Moving the Machine
Relocation of the machine should be performed by a customer engineer. Contact your service
representative if you need to relocate the machine.
About Long Term Storage of the Machine
When not using the machine for a week or more, perform nozzle maintenance before storing the
machine.
For details about how to perform nozzle maintenance, see page 185 "Performing nozzle
maintenance".
Note the following:
If the machine is to be left unused for a long time, check that there are sufficient reserves in the ink
cartridge, nozzle cleaning cartridge and flushing liquid cartridge, and that the waste ink bottle has
enough spare capacity. If the ink or other cartridges run out or the waste ink bottle becomes full,
the auto-maintenance function will not work properly. If the auto-maintenance function fails to work
