Capacitance
This appendix includes product information required to configure the common DC bus systems described in this publication.
AC and DC Circuit Protection Devices
The common DC bus system may require additional feeder and branch circuit protection and disconnect devices. You’re responsible for providing
appropriate circuit protection as required by national and local electrical safety codes and regulations.
See the product technical data, installation, and user manuals for more information about branch circuit protection recommendations.
Depending on product family and frame size, AC and/or DC fuses may be provided internally or must be supplied external to the product. Internal
and recommended external fuses are non-time delay, high-speed semiconductor overcurrent protection devices that may not be suitable for
branch circuit overload protection.
