FA ROTEX HeatPumpSolarUnit - Part 2 - 05/2009
The program clock cannot change between the operating modes room cooling
1)
and room heating . This setting must be
made manually by the user.
During operation with manual setting by the user, if the program clock is also switched on, the system is also controlled by the
program clock. The program clock always only works according to the most recent user parameters set until new parameters are
set. This means that a setting made manually by the user can be cancelled by the program clock.
The program clock is switched on and off using the key. Saved time switching programs can be changed or deleted at any
time. To have a better overview, we recommend making a record of the programmed switching times and keeping this in a safe
place.
The Booster Heater (EHS) is fully automatically controlled via the control system integrated in the Indoor Module (RKHB). The
switching limits and switching time periods are defined in the parameter settings. If the Booster Heater (EHS) is also switched
on, the display on the user interface shows the symbol .
6.3.1 Reading and programming switching times for Room cooling / Room heating
The user can program 5 switching times per day for heating operation and 5 switching times for cooling operation
1)
.
However, since the program clock cannot change automatically between the operating modes room cooling
1)
and room heating,
the control system uses the temperature values of the current time switching program of the operating mode currently selected.
When programming, you should therefore ensure that the user adopts the same temperature settings for both operating modes,
where applicable, and depending on the time of year, changes between the operating modes room cooling
1)
and room heating.
When programming, base your values on the standard values in the parameters and the programmed switching times of the other
operating modes to avoid unfavourable operating conditions.
1)
The function room cooling is available only for systems of type "HPSU..X".
CAUTION!
If the Booster Heater (EHS) is used when the storage tank is not completely full this can lead to a
reduction in heating efficiency or an STL shutdown and may cause an electrical fault.
• Only run the Booster Heater (EHS) when the storage tank is completely full.
