3.6Mounting the Column
This section describes mounting of the column. For the detailed procedure, refer to “4. Installating the
Column
” in the GC-2010 Instruction Manual.
WARNING
High temperature
You might suffer burns. Be sure to confirm that each part has cooled down
before starting the operations.
Fix the graphite ferrule at the position shown in the following figure.
Using provided graphite fixing fitting (P/N 221-48610-02) allows graphite to be fixed at the position shown in
the figure.

Connect the well conditioned column. Connect the column after confirming that each part has sufficiently
cooled down at the [Stop GC] condition (where inlet pressure and column flow rate are
“0”).
