Address space of the digital on-board I/O
Address space of digital input and digital output channels
The addresses are divided into 2 x 16 digital input channels and 2 x 16 digital output
channels. STEP 7 (TIA Portal) assigns the addresses automatically. You can change the
addresses in the hardware configuration of STEP 7 (TIA Portal), i.e. freely assign the start
address. The addresses of the channels are based on the start address.
The letters "a" to "d" are lasered on the on-board I/O. "IB a", for example, stands for start
address input byte a. "QB x", for example, stands for start address output byte x.
