装饰拼缝线迹
EDGE-JOINING STITCH
这是一种特殊的装饰拼缝线迹。将两片布料拼接后，在
它们之间留出一条小空隙，形成特殊的装饰效果。
做法是 ：将两片布料边分别折叠、烫平，并将两个布的
折边对应平放，中间留出约 0.3 厘米的间隙。下垫棉纸，
用疏缝定位 。在 0.3 厘米的间隙中间缝纫装饰拼缝线
迹，机针缝纫到两边折边的边缘点。完成后拆掉疏缝线，
撕去棉纸，熨平即可。
This is a popular decorative stitch. It can also be used for joining
two separate pieces of fabric, leaving a little space in between. To
attach two separate pieces of fabric together, leave a little space in
between. To prepare the fabric:
Fold under the seam allowances on the cut edges, and press.
Baste folded edges to tissue paper with about 1/8” (0.3 cm) space
between. Stitch over the 1/8” (0.3 cm) allowance, just catching the
fabric fold on both sides with needle. Remove bastings and paper;
press.
