1. In B mode, scan and freeze the image, press
the【Calc】key to pop up the Meas & Calc
menu, move the trackball, use the cursor to
select “OB Basic”, press the【SET】key to go to
the submenu, move the trackball to select
“AFI”, press the【SET】key to go to “AFI”
measurement mode.
2. Measure AFD1. See “Distance Measurement”
for the detailed method.
3. Unfreeze the image, rescan the image, freeze,
measure AFD2, the measurement method is
the same as “Distance Measurement”.
4. Unfreeze the image, rescan the image, freeze,
measure AFD3, the measurement method is
the same as “Distance Measurement”.
5. Unfreeze the image, rescan the image, freeze,
measure AFD4, the measurement method is
the same as “Distance Measurement”.
6. The amniotic fluid depths in 4 parts are
calculated, and the AFI result is displayed in
the result window.
7. Repeat steps (1) to (6) to go to the next AFI
measurement.
