3.6.2 B mode special measurement
B mode special measurement includes:
Basic OB measurement
Applicable OB measurement
GYN measurement
Cardiac measurement
Urologic measurement
Small Part measurement
1. In B mode, scan and freeze the image, press
the 【Calc】key to pop up the Meas & Calc
menu, move the trackball, use the cursor to
select “volume”, press the【SET】key to go to
the submenu, move the trackball to select
“3-Axis”, go to “3-Axis volume” measurement
mode.
2. On the screen based on the size of the
measured region an ellipse is drawn. See
“Area/Cir” with ellipse for the ellipse drawing
method.
3. Unfreeze the image; rescan to acquire a
section orthogonal to the previous image.
Freeze it, and measure the length of the 3rd
axis. The measurement method is the same
as that for “Distance Measurement”.
4. After ending the measurement, the
measurement result for volume is displayed
in the result window.
5. Repeat steps 2 to 4, to go to the next 3-Axis
volume measurement.
