4: Connecting the audio components
The following illustration shows how to connect a Super Audio CD player, CD player, an MD deck
and DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter.
A Coaxial digital cord (not supplied)
B Optical digital cord (not supplied)
Notes
• When connecting optical digital cords, insert the
plugs straight in until they click into place.
• Do not bend or tie optical digital cords.
• To disconnect the DIGITAL MEDIA PORT
adapter, remove the DIGITAL MEDIA PORT
adapter by squeezing the sides of the connector,
since the connector is locked in place.
• Before connecting cords, make sure to disconnect
the AC power cord (mains lead).
Tip
All the digital audio jacks are compatible with
32 kHz, 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz and 96 kHz
sampling frequencies.
