80. Check that the waveform monitor displays the appropriate color bars signal.
AES/EBU Audio Outputs.
81. Press the SYSTEM button to enter the System menu.
82. Press the up (
S) or down (T) arrow button to select CONFIGURATION and
then press the ENTER button. This enters the Configuration submenu.
83. Press the up (
S) or down (T) arrow button to select XLR OUTPUT.
84. Press the left (W) or right (X) arrow button to select AES/EBU Audio.
85. Press the ENTER button.
86. Connect the 1+2/RIGHT XLR connector to the digital audio monitor using the
XLR cable.
87. Set the digital audio monitor to display the status for the audio data, and to
receive a signal through the XLR-balanced input.
88. Check that the monitor does not show any CRC error.
89. Change the XLR cable from the 1+2/RIGHT XLR connector to the
3+4/LEFT XLR connector.
90. Check that the monitor does not show any CRC error.
91. Disconnect the XLR cable from the 3+4/LEFT XLR connector.
SPG600 Only:
92. Connect the AES 1+2 connector to the digital audio monitor using the 75
Ω
BNC cable.
93. Set the digital audio monitor to receive a signal through the BNC-unbalanced
input.
94. Check that the monitor does not show any CRC error.
95. Change the BNC cable from AES 1+2 connector to the AES 3+4 connector.
96. Check that no CRC errors appear on the monitor.
97. Change the BNC cable from AES 3+4 connector to the AES 5+6 connector
98. Check that no CRC errors appear on the monitor.
99. Change the BNC cable from AES 5+6 connector to the AES 7+8 connector
100.Check that no CRC errors appear on the monitor.
