4.2.4 WWAN antenna connections (RF connectors)
Certain models of the Regesta Smart PRO router have a pair of RF antenna connectors. The antennas are seam-
lessly attached and detached by securely screwing and unscrewing them into the designated RF1 or RF2 connectors
located on the device's connector panel.
Specifically, the RF1 connector is directly connected to the MAIN connector of the module, whereas the RF2 con-
nector is linked to the AUX connector.
By using these antennas in the Regesta Smart PRO router, the reception and transmission of signals by the WWAN
module are significantly improved.
To enhance signal quality for cellular technologies such as HSUPA and LTE, the Regesta Smart PRO includes two
WWAN/RF connectors. Regardless of the configuration, it is essential to always install the antenna on RF1 (while the
antenna on RF2 is optional).
