4.6 Troubleshooting
The table below provides guidance for troubleshooting device installation issues. If you encounter a problem that
cannot be resolved using the table, please contact your dealer for further assistance.

None of the LEDs on the router
are lighting up.
Verify the power supply to the router, including the power source and main power
outlet.
The local console is unrespons-
ive.
Ensure that the correct console cable is being used and that it is properly connec-
ted to both the device and the asynchronous terminal.
Verify that the terminal is configured with the correct port.
Verify that the terminal configuration is 115200 8N1.
Check that the console is not being used for event processing.

You have forgotten the access
password for the router.
Ignore the configuration through the RST button (as described in the appropriate
section).
The device loses date and time
settings upon restarting.
Any parameters configured using the time set command will not be preserved
after the device restarts. We recommend using the NTP protocol to maintain ac-
curate date and time settings.
The LAN, WAN, SFP or SW
LEDs fail to light up in green.
Inspect the Ethernet cable, fiber connection, and network connection (a crossover
cable may be required).
