damaged,themachinecouldoperateunexpectedly,

•Donottamperwiththeinterlockswitches.
•Checktheoperationoftheinterlockswitches
dailyandreplaceanydamagedswitchesbefore
operatingthemachine.
UnderstandingtheSafety-Interlock
System
Thesafety-interlocksystemisdesignedtopreventthemower
bladesfromrotatingunless1ofthefollowingoccur:
•Youmovetherightmotion-controllevertothecenter,
unlockedposition.
•Theblade-controlswitch(PTO)isengaged.
Thesafety-interlocksystemisdesignedtostopthemower
bladesifyoumoveorreleasetherightmotion-control
leverintotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition.
Thehourmeterhassymbolstonotifyyouwhenthe
interlockcomponentisinthecorrectposition.Whenthe
componentisinthecorrectposition,atrianglelightsup
inthecorrespondingsquare.
