Lever
Ifthemotion-controlleversdonotalignhorizontally,adjust
therightmotion-controllever.
Note:Adjustthehorizontalalignmentbeforethefrontto
backalignment.
1.DisengagethePTO,movetherightmotion-control
levertotheNEUTRALposition,andsettheparking
brake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
3.Pushtherightmotion-controlleverdownoutofthe
NEUTRAL-LOCKposition(Figure68).
4.Checkiftherightmotion-controlleveraligns
horizontallywiththeleftmotion-controllever(Figure
68).

Note:Movingthecamclockwise(inthevertical
position)lowersthehandle,whilemovingit
counterclockwise(intheverticalposition)raisesthe
handle.
Important:Ensurethattheatportionofthe
camdoesnotgoaboveaverticalposition(rightor
left),oryoumaycausedamagetotheswitch.

Important:Ensurethatthetrackingofthemower
iscorrectafteradjustingthemotion-controllevers.
Adjustingthetrackingandaligningthemotion-control
leversfronttobackisthesameprocedure(Figure70).
Note:Adjustthehorizontalalignmentbeforethefrontto
backalignment.
Ifthemotion-controlleversdonotalignfronttoback,or
therightsidecontrolleverdoesnotmoveeasilyintothe
NEUTRAL-LOCKposition,adjustmentisrequired.
1.Afteryounishthehorizontalalignment,check
thefront-to-backalignmentbyslightlypushingthe
motion-controlleversforwardtotakeupanyslackin
thelinkageforthecontrollevers(Figure70).
