1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagethepowertakeoff(PTO)andshutoffthe
engine.
3.Waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingpositionandsettheparkingbrake.
4.Cleantheareaaroundthecapandthellerneckofthe
hydraulictank(Figure72).

pinholeleaksornozzlesthateject
high-pressurehydraulicuid.
•Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulic
leaks.
•Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulic
systembeforeperforminganyworkonthe
hydraulicsystem.
•Makesurethatallhydraulic-uidhoses
areingoodcondition,andallthatthe
hydraulicconnectionsandttingsare
tightbeforeapplyingpressuretohydraulic
system.

1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengineandwaitforallmovingpartsto
stopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Removehydraulicreservoircap.
4.Locatethefronthydraulichoseunderthehydraulic
tankandplaceadrainpanunderthetank(Figure73).
5.Loosenthehoseclampandmoveitdownthehose.
6.Removethefronthydraulichoseandallowtheuidto
runoutofthetank.
