14.3 REGULAR MAINTENANCE INSPECTION PLAN
All maintenance and servicing must be carried out by technicians authorized by
VALMAR Company.
14.4 TEST RUN
Procedure of the test run:
make sure that the mixture treating control panel is in STOP state;
make sure that the ejection opening is well closed;
open the cylinder cover and pour approximately 10 cm of water into the
cylinder;
close the cylinder cover;
press the MIXING key;
observe the machine’s operation for 10 seconds at the most; (the
appliance may continue to run without ice cream mixture 10
seconds at the most; extended operation of the appliance without
mixture is not allowed!)
press the STOP / RESET key;
place a suitable container under the ejection opening, open the opening
and empty the water out of the cylinder
14.5 CHECKING THE CONDITION AND WEAR OF THE MIXER
SCRAPERS
The user of the machine should check the condition of the scrapers and monitor
their wear. During the everyday washing and cleaning of the mixer, the user
should attentively check the condition of the scrapers and their wear:
that the scrapers are not crumpled or deformed;
that the scraper springs are not deformed;
that the wear of each individual scraper is even;
that the wear of all scrapers is comparable.
