3.2 Checking the ShockWatch and TiltWatch
VATECH carefully inspects all equipment before their shipments. However, we highly
recommend the installers check the ShockWatch and TilltWatch and the packages'
conditions before opening them to ensure that the equipment has not received
damages during the shipping.
The installers and supervisors must check the conditions of
indicators on each package before opening it.
The ShockWatch and TiltWatch are affixed only to the
main box, which contains the equipment.
The ShockWatch and TiltWatch turn red as the
package receives a shock during transportation.
However, the color change does not necessarily mean
that the equipment has been damaged.
Check the followings before opening each package:
1. Inspect all packages for external damages.
2. Find the ShockWatch and TiltWatch (see the image below), which are affixed to
the main box that contains the equipment, and check if their color has changed.
If you see that the ShockWatch and TilltWatch have been
activated or find damage on the package, do not open it,
and contact your VATECH service representative.
